My work has covered a large number of disciplines:
● World art – Specializing in modular kits (talks on this at GDC 2013/2016) and a high volume of asset creation.
● Lighting – Lit most of Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and the exterior of Fallout 76 while also being a lead on the project. Also developed new lighting tech for 76 with engineering.
● Art Direction – Art directed Fallout 76. Created asset lists, ran a 50+ person art team across multiple studios and 6 outsourcing companies.
● Level Design – Designed cities such as Diamond City, Little Lamplight, Paradise Falls, Crater and multiple dungeons.
● Shaders – Modified all of the shaders in Fallout 76 to improve the lighting for the launch of the Wastelanders expansion.
● Design – Instrumental in balancing, changing and making 76 better.
● Characters/Weapons – Multiple creatures and weapons in 76.
● Tools – Created a large number of tools for 3D Studio Max used by the art team. Worked with programming on most tools initiatives.
● Production – Often self-scheduled and worked outside of the typical production setup at Bethesda. Scheduled the art team on 76 for the first ~6 months.
● Marketing – Captured and directed trailers, interviews, panels, etc.
